The dS measures all the relevant parameters and uses them to calculate the correct aiming point. The intelligent technology provided by this rifle scope greatly simplifies shooting at different distances. Based on your personal ballistics it automatically displays the correct aiming point, taking into account the distance, angle, temperature and air pressure.

FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE
For maximum customization you can choose between six different reticle options. You can adjust the thickness of the lines and dots in the app. In addition, you can personalize the information display according to your individual preferences.

In-device menu
For certain settings to be changed quickly out in the field without using the smartphone:
• Device mode: range (for ballistic calculation and adjusted hold-over point) vs. red dot illumination (e.g. usage with thermal clip-on device)
• Wind settings

Shot detection & collection in App Journal
The data of the shots are saved on the dS to be imported into the Hunting App for using the Tracking Assistant or for documentation purposes in the Hunting Journal.
Tracking Assistant
The Tracking Assistant can be used on the smartphone after selecting the relevant shot in the app’s map and you will be guided to the target area. Since the distance measurement is more accurate than the direction you will be shown an arc- shaped search field.
A regular calibration of the integrated compass is recommended to ensure maximum precision of both the compass and Tracking Assistant.
The calibration process can be triggered in the in-device menu and is executed in three steps (with the scope being mounted on the rifle!)*:
step 1: roll the device (turn 90° to left and right)
step 2: pitch the device (turn 90° up and down)
step 3: roll and pitch (place 90° to the left and turn it up and down again)
*Make sure rifle is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction down range.
Over the Air Updates
Updates can be distributed easily and fast so that anyone can benefit from new features. There is no need to send the device back to the factory.

With the RC Remote Control, you can stay on target and trigger range measurement (big button) and change brightness (small buttons), which considerably simplifies operation.
To use the RC remote control with the dS, the devices must first be connected once (pairing via Bluetooth®).
GOOD TO KNOW
dS + THERMAL DEVICE. Laser measurement does not work in combination with a thermal device. The thermal devices of SWAROVSKI OPTIK cannot be damaged by the laser. But since the same liability cannot be accepted for thermal devices from third-party manufacturers, we offer the additional device mode red dot illumination. In that mode the central aiming point is illuminated and all other functions (including LRF measurement) are deactivated. In t he r ed d ot m ode t he SWAROLIGHT function is activated.
SIGHTING IN. The sighting-in process of the dS is done mechanically. A Torx wrench TX6 plus adjusting tool for the elevation and windage adjustment can be found in the turret next to the battery.
