Shipping & Insurance
Shipping on all orders over $1200 is FREE if you choose to pay with an EMT (Interac E-Transfer). Just choose EMT as payment method at checkout, and we will send you the final amount to pay by EMT. We ship by COURIER, not Canada Post as Canada Post is too unreliable with delivery deadlines.
Contact us if you want to add insurance to your shipping cost, so we can quote you on insuring your package. If NO insurance is requested, Shooting Warehouse cannot be held responsible for missing or damaged items once proof of shipment is provided in the form of a tracking number, showing the carrier has accepted the parcel. Once we have handed over the parcel to the courier (normally either Fedex, UPS, Canpar or Loomis Express), we get a tracking number which we will send to you. If NO insurance is bought and paid for by you, the customer, then loss or damage is on the customer once proof of acceptance by the carrier is provided to the customer.
If shipping insurance IS taken, then in the event of a damaged or missing package, we request that you contact us so we can start a claim on your behalf.
With the carriers we use, shipping insurance cost is ONLY 1% of the value of the order excluding shipping cost. Canada Post normally charges in excess of 2% for insurance.
