Shipping & Insurance!!! NB!!!
Shipping on all orders over $1500 is FREE to the MAIN CENTRES in Canada if you choose to pay with an EMT (Interac E-Transfer). Just choose EMT as payment method at checkout, and we will send you the final amount to pay by EMT. We ship mostly by COURIER rather than Canada Post. Surcharges for shipments in rural areas or addresses outside of the main cities, will be for the buyer's account as we have no control over these extra costs!!
Contact us if you want to add insurance to your shipping cost, so we can quote you on insuring your package. If NO insurance is requested, Shooting Warehouse Sport Optics cannot be held responsible for missing or damaged items once proof of shipment is provided in the form of a tracking number, showing the carrier has accepted the parcel. Once we create a shipping label with the courier (normally either Fedex, UPS, Canpar or Purolator), we get a tracking number which we will send to you. If NO insurance is bought and paid for by you, the customer, then loss or damage is the responsibility of the customer once proof of acceptance by the carrier is provided to the customer via a tracking update. We cannot be held liable for loss or damage once the package is handed to the shipping carrier, should the customer decide NOT to insure the package.
If shipping insurance IS bought and paid for, then in the event of a damaged or missing package, we request that you contact us so we can start a claim on your behalf.
With the carriers we use, shipping insurance cost is ONLY 1% of the value of the order excluding the actual cost of shipping. Canada Post charges 2.5% of the value for insurance, so we prefer to ship by COURIER to save on shipping and insurance costs.
