The ultimate high-performance hunting binoculars with innovative technology
The Leica Geovid Max 10x42 was developed for hunters and precision shooters who need more than just a measured value at long distances. It combines brilliant observation, highly precise rangefinding, professional ballistics and precise terrain navigation in powerful hunting binoculars.
The exceptionally bright Active Matrix micro LED display remains clearly legible even in strong sunlight. It can be individually configured via the Leica Ballistics App so that only the information actually required in the respective situation appears in the field of view. Distance, ballistic correction, shot probability, wind data and compass information are therefore immediately available without additional distraction.
The highly precise laser measuring system determines distances up to around 2,900 metres in standard measuring mode in just 0.3 seconds. For greater distances, Extended Mode increases the range to up to around 7,500 metres for retroreflective targets. The “First”, “Best” and “Last” target modes adapt the measuring logic to isolated, nearby or partially obscured targets, ensuring reliable results even in demanding situations.
Applied Ballistics Professional® calculates precise correction values up to the maximum measuring range. Air pressure, temperature and angle of inclination are automatically recorded and included in the calculation. Shot Probability Analysis additionally displays the expected probability of a hit as a percentage, providing a sound basis for a responsible shooting decision.
As part of the Leica Ecosystem, the Geovid Max connects seamlessly with the Leica Ballistics App, compatible Kestrel® devices, Garmin® watches and BaseMap® Pro. Leica ProTrack guides the user precisely to a previously measured point in the terrain. This creates a fully connected system for observation, rangefinding, ballistics and navigation, providing a better overview, shorter decision paths and full concentration on the decisive moment.
The Leica 10x42 high-performance optics with patented Perger-Porro prism system, 90% light transmission and high edge-to-edge sharpness enable reliable target identification and detail recognition, even in difficult lighting conditions. The distinctive Flat Dark Earth colour identifies the Geovid Max as the high-end model in the Leica Geovid family.
