EAW launches the world‘s first triple-use thermal imaging camera, the Fokus HD 50!!

Following intensive development work, the EAW team presents another world first: the new EAW Fokus HD 50 thermal imaging camera, which  impresses not only with its uncompromising, EAW-typical build quality, but also with its great versatility in use.

A practical, extremely robust carrying case rounds off the impressive overall package.

A well thought-out mechanical and optical design guarantees absolute shooting stability as well as maximum precision and repeatability as a clip on. Switching between the different modes can be done quickly and intuitively in just a few seconds thanks to the multi-function buttons.

The modular laser range finder (laser class 1) is eye-safe and measures precisely up to a distance of 1200m. It is included as part of the package!!

Thanks to the patented eyepiece, the future-oriented camera already covers all conceivable applications in modern hunting and can be used for spotting, as a clip on or as a thermal sight device. The FOKUS HD 50 offers multiple uses as Monocular, Clip-on for rifle scopes or as a stand-alone thermal scope mounted directly to a picatinny rail.

The elaborate mechanical and optical construction guarantees absolute stability with any caliber and highest precision and repeatability as a clip on. No point of impact change with your optics. Can be used with turrets with bullet drop compensation (BDC). Save up to 5 rifles when used as a thermal sight.

Developed and manufactured entirely in Germany, the camera is made of high-strength 7075 T6 aluminum and, in addition to its extreme robustness, is 100% waterproof and salt water resistant. A shock-protecting and noise-reducing rubber coating on the surface also guarantees excellent ergonomics in all weather conditions.

Vox HD Sensor System (640x480px, 12μm). The sensor‘s excellent thermal sensitivity of < 30 mK NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference) guarantees a razor-sharp, high-contrast image even in poor conditions. The high-resolution HD sensor system in combination with a fast 50mm germanium lens guarantees outstanding image quality.

Video and photo recordings can be stored on the internal memory and are accessable via a USB-C connection. Direct streaming via an integrated WiFi module is also part of the standard equipment. This means that the current live image from the camera can also be viewed on a mobile device at the same time.

The integrated rechargeable battery with a runtime of up to 8 hours can also be supplied with external power or recharged at any time, for example with a portable charger.

Uses an M43 x 0.75mm adapter which we sell as an accessory, coupled with riflescope adapters in various dimensions.

Best function is given with low power magnification scopes in the range of 1-x, 2-x or 3-x times magnification. 

The traditional manufacturer EAW from Würzburg has stood for quality and precision since the 1970s with the invention of pivot mounts and completely redefined the market at the time. In recent years, EAW has impressed with constant product innovations, for example in the production of precision components using the additive manufacturing process (3D printing) from aluminum and titanium.
